Sorry about your loss, I remember how I much I thought that Shari's dad was so goodlooking. He put up with me many nights on Walker Lane in Kenai Alaska, as I loved spending the night at the Hartenbergers. The pictorial is amazing and it brought back many memories of Shari and her family. We had so many things in common, I was born in S. Dakota, raised a Lutheran and grew up in a hunting/fishing/outdoorsy type family. My mom has passed on, however my dad is still living on the same property at the end of Linwood Lane in Kenai.
I didn't know Mr. Hartenberger, but you have graciously allowed me a glimpse into the life of a man who was obviously very loved and well thought of. Thank you Shari for sharing this wonderful memorial for your father, I'm so very sorry for your loss. My prayers and love are with you and your family.

What a nice website and photographs to share. Fritz was a great man whose 'love of life' will be missed by all. Thanks for sharing your many family celebrations with the Klemz 'kinfolk' thoughout the years. Karen
Thinking of you all in this time of passing. What great memories of a very special person. I remember being so impressed with how he spoke to and handled his children (especially his 16 year old at the time, Shari !!! (: When I was at their house I could feel his love and enthusiam for his family and their future. His life is truly a great story. Love and prayers to you.
