The other day, as I was trying to get my own daughter down to nap, I had an instant flashback to how grandpa used to make me "nap". Really, it was his way of getting a nap while he was babysitting me. He would lay down on the couch, with me wrapped so tightly in his arms, I couldn't move. Then he would fall asleep, usually a deep sleep, snoring and all! If I tried to wriggle out of his grasp, he would only tighten his embrace around me. I remember laying in his arms for what seemed like forever, waiting for him to wake up so we could play! I now try the same tactic with Ryley... Grandpa was a good teacher!
